Channel-type feeders is suitable for mineral processing, coal, chemicals, and other industrial departments. It draws particle and chunk materials from the storehouse and sends them to different types of feeding equipment, but it is not suitable for sending ore powder and other powder shape materials.
Working Principle
The Channel type feeder can be mounted on the ground or hoisted on the discharge port of the ore bin. The trough bottom plate reciprocates, with a stroke frequency of 20-60 times/min and a stroke of 20-200mm. The stroke can be appropriately adjusted by the eccentric wheel of the driving device, and the eccentric distance is half of the stroke. According to the production practice of some ore dressing plants, for sticky ores, the eccentric distance should not be less than 30mm. The trough width of the trough feeder is about 2-2.5 times the particle size of the feed. The largest trough feeder can meet the feeding of ores with a particle size of less than 500mm.
